After getting a chance meeting with Prince and Tony M and Kirk Johnson of NPG he was given his first music production contract. And work in both Paisley Park and Flyte Tyme occasionally owned by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. I did additional work with Flyte Tyme (Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) with Jeff Taylor (platinum engineer). In 2000 I received 3 1/2 mics in The Source Magazine along side of Mannie Fresh and Erik Sermon (Cd that were produced by solo producers). It was said that my work set the bar for all the other material head in that record report session…no one got 4 mics because of Da Heatmizer. That issue had Eminem on the cover.
